Question 1

Why is one jar priced the way it is?

Accepted Answer

One jar carries the cost of what happens before the ghee is made. At Uppermost Farms®, our ghee begins with lineage-selected cattle, a selection journey of more than one year to arrive at the purest lineages we could responsibly work with, Botanical 36™ nourishment, calf-first Ahimsa milking, a 48-hour Vedic method, clay vessels, peepul-wood churning, measured final heating, glass packaging, small-batch finishing, and batch screening. It is limited not for marketing, but because the process does not allow volume without compromise.

Question 2

What is Botanical 36™?

Accepted Answer

Botanical 36™ is our 36-ingredient cattle nourishment protocol at Uppermost Farms®. Designed with animal nutritionists, it supports complete daily nourishment through selected greens, seeds, roots, grains, natural minerals, energy carriers, oils, cakes, and tonics. The 36 ingredients are Berseem, Azolla, Moringa leaf, Neem leaf, Aloe vera, Kasni or Chicory, Ajwain, Saunf or Fennel, Jeera or Cumin, Dana Methi or Fenugreek, Alsi or Flaxseed, Halu or Asaliya seeds, Dhaniya or Coriander seed, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Mulethi or Licorice, Giloy, Shankhpushpi, Jivanti, Amla, Gehu or Wheat, Jau or Barley, Bajra, Jowar, Channa or Chickpea, Guar, Kala Namak, Safed Namak, Gud or Jaggery, Molasses, Tilli Tel or Sesame oil, Mustard cake, Wheat husk, Kakde or Cotton seeds, Turmeric, and Dry Ginger. It is our way of building milk quality through care, not external production boosters, excessive urea, or aggressive mineral pushing.

Question 3

What does Ahimsa mean at Uppermost Farms®?

Accepted Answer

Ahimsa at Uppermost Farms® is not a decorative word. It is a practical standard of care. Our milking rhythm is calf-first: for the first 4 months of the calf’s growth journey, the calf receives milk from two teats at every milking. This means less milk for us, but more life for the calf. We do not follow calf separation, male-calf disposal, old-animal culling, overmilking, forced lactation pressure, hormone misuse, or production-boosting feed shortcuts. Every animal is treated as part of the farm’s living foundation, not as a disposable production unit.

Question 4

What is the 48-hour Vedic method?

Accepted Answer

The 48-hour Vedic method is the complete transformation from milk to ghee, not a claim that heating alone takes 48 hours. It includes milk selection, slow milk heating in clay, curd setting in clay, peepul-wood bilona churning, butter separation, and measured final heating. Each stage has its own material logic: clay supports a slower heat environment, curd requires controlled temperature and time, churning must be gentle enough to preserve character, and final heating shapes colour, aroma, moisture, texture, and finish.

Question 5

Why does the colour change between batches?

Accepted Answer

Uppermost Ghee is batch-made, not colour-standardised. Its shade may move with the season, lactation stage, milk composition, culture behaviour, curd setting, vessel response, and the measured final heating. Gir Cow Ghee may move within a golden spectrum, while Murrah Buffalo Ghee may appear softer, ivory, or light-golden. We do not artificially correct colour. A natural shift between batches is part of honest ghee-making, where the jar reflects the living source behind it.

Question 6

How do I read the batch code?

Accepted Answer

The batch code connects your jar to its source, product type, and internal traceability record. The format looks like UF-G-GHEE-xxxxxx or UF-M-GHEE-xxxxxx. UF means Uppermost Farms®. G means Gir Cow Ghee. M means Murrah Buffalo Ghee. GHEE identifies the product category. The final xxxxxx is a unique numeric code linked to the jar’s batch records, production notes, and quality documentation.

Question 7

Does it need refrigeration, and how long does it keep?

Accepted Answer

Ghee does not need refrigeration when stored properly. Keep the jar in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, steam, and moisture. Always use a clean, dry spoon and close the lid after use. Please follow the best before date printed on your jar. Texture may change with season and room temperature, but that alone does not indicate spoilage.

Question 8

Why does the texture become grainy, semi-solid, or liquid?

Accepted Answer

Ghee naturally responds to temperature. It may become grainy, semi-solid, soft, or liquid depending on the room, the season, and the fat crystal structure of that batch. This is normal for real ghee and does not reduce its quality. Use a clean, dry spoon, keep the jar closed, and allow the texture to settle naturally.

Question 9

How is it shipped, and what if a jar breaks?

Accepted Answer

Each jar is glass-packed with care and protected for transit. If your jar arrives damaged or broken, please share clear photos and an unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery. Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or an appropriate resolution. Because this is a food product, returns are accepted only for damaged, wrongly delivered, or defective items.

Question 10

Can I use Gir Cow Ghee for pregnancy, Ayurveda, baby care or nasya?

Accepted Answer

Gir Cow Ghee has a long place in Indian food, ritual, and traditional wellness practices. However, pregnancy, baby care, Ayurveda routines, and nasya are sensitive use cases. Please use it only under guidance from a qualified doctor or Ayurveda practitioner. Uppermost does not recommend self-use for therapeutic purposes, and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Question 11

What is the difference between Gir Cow Ghee and Murrah Buffalo Ghee?

Accepted Answer

Gir Cow Ghee reads lighter, golden, aromatic, and ritual-led. It is suited for puja, prasad, warm roti, halwa, Ayurveda-led food traditions, and considered daily use. Murrah Buffalo Ghee reads richer, denser, ivory, and more sensory-led. It is suited for fuller meals, deeper cooking, festive food, and a rounder dairy aroma. Both follow the Uppermost method; the difference begins with the animal, the milk, and the final sensory expression.

Question 12

Which size should I choose — 0.5 litre or 1 litre?

Accepted Answer

Choose 0.5 litre if you are experiencing Uppermost Ghee for the first time, gifting it, or using it mainly for puja, prasad, Ayurveda-led routines, and occasional finishing. Choose 1 litre if your household uses ghee regularly for roti, dal, khichdi, rice, halwa, warm milk, festive cooking, or daily meals.

Question 13

Is Uppermost Ghee lab tested?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Uppermost Ghee is batch-screened for quality, safety, purity, nutritional, and compositional markers. Our lab-screening language is kept deliberately precise: it supports transparency, not medical claims. Tested values can vary naturally by batch, season, lactation stage, and feed cycle.

Question 14

Why does Uppermost speak about fat-soluble vitamins, fatty acids and the ghee matrix?

Accepted Answer

Because ghee is often reduced to one word: fat. At its highest form, ghee is more considered than that. It is a dairy-fat matrix shaped by the animal, nourishment, milk, culture, churn, heat, and time. Within this matrix sit naturally present fat-soluble vitamins, short-chain fatty acids, aroma compounds, and sensory markers. We speak about them to explain structure and craft, not to make medical promises.

Question 15

Can I cook with Uppermost Ghee daily?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Uppermost Ghee can be used in daily food. Gir Cow Ghee is especially suited for roti, dal, rice, khichdi, halwa, prasad, warm milk, and finishing cooked food with aroma and depth. Use it as part of a balanced diet and choose the quantity according to your household, dietary needs, and practitioner guidance where relevant.

Question 16

Is this a limited batch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Uppermost Ghee is made in small batches because the method is slow and material-led. For the current Gir Cow Ghee release, only 120 jars are available: 40 jars of 0.5 litre and 80 jars of 1 litre. Around 4 jars are finished per day. The batch is limited by milk, process, time, and care — not by artificial scarcity.

Question 17

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

You can pay through the available secure checkout options, including UPI, credit card, debit card, net banking, wallets, or other payment methods shown at checkout. Once your order is confirmed, dispatch details are shared through the order flow.
